Lawyer seeks information on Ravi Subramaniam

KANCHEEPURAM, DEC.19. A Chennai-based lawyer, who breezed into a bungalow today, from where the team investigating the Sankararaman murder case is operating, stated that he came to Kancheepuram to ascertain from the team whether Ravi Subramaniam, one of the fugitives, had been really arrested or not.

Allowed entry

The advocate alighting from a car went up to the sentry posted at the entrance of the District Revenue Officer Camp Office Road where the investigation bungalow is situated and showed his identity card to the policeman and asked whether he and his `junior' would be allowed proceed to the bungalow.

After ascertaining their identity, the sentry permitted them to enter the `protected zone' at around 12.10 p.m.
