CHENNAI, DEC. 21 . The Directorate of Government Examinations has announced the timetable for the standard X and XII examinations of different boards to be held from March 2, 2005. Higher Secondary Examination: March 2 - Language I; March 3 - Language II; March 4 - English I; March 5 - Home Science/vocational subjects like Typewriting/Office Secretaryship Practical I/Business Machines and Computer Programming I; March 7 - English II; March 8 - Political Science; March 9 - Accountancy/Siddha; March 10 - Physics/History; March 11 - Psychology/vocational subjects like Office Secretaryship Practical II/Shorthand English and Tamil; March 12 - Advanced Languages/Foundation Science; March 14 - Chemistry/Fine Arts/Logic; March 15 - Commerce; March 16 - Statistics/Indian Culture; March 17 - Biology/Botany/Business Maths/Environmental Studies; March 18 - Philosophy/all vocational subjects theory/Computer Science/Electronics/Office Management/Electrical Domestic Appliances/Electrical Motor Rewinding/General Machinist/Radio and TV Maintenance/Banking/General Insurance; March 19 - Geography; March 21 - Maths/Zoology; March 22 - Sociology/Ayurveda; and March 23 - Economics. The examinations for all subjects will be held between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. and for typewriting and shorthand between 10 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. SSLC/OSLC Examination: March 28 - OSLC Main Language I (Sanskrit/Arabic/Persian); March 29 - Language I, Tamil for OSLC; March 30 - Language II; March 31 - English I; April 1 - English II; April 2 - OSLC Main Language II; April 4 - Mathematics; April 6 - Science; April 7 - OSLC Main Advanced Language III; and April 8 - Social Science. The examinations will be held between 10 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. Matriculation and Anglo-Indian Examination: March 24 - Matriculation Language I/Anglo-Indian Language; March 28 - Mat. Language II; March 29 - English I; March 30 - English II; March 31 - Mathematics I; April 1 - Mathematics II; April 4 - Science I; April 5 - Science II; April 7 - History and Civics; and April 8 - Geography. The examinations will be held between 10 a.m. and 12.30 p.m.
