High tea by YSR
By Our Special Correspondent
HYDERABAD,
DEC. 22.
The Chief Minister, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, hosted a `high tea' to prominent Christians of the twin cities at Jubilee Hall here tonight. Carols were sung, Bible-reading made and messages given. The Hyderabad Archbishop, Rev. Marampudi Joji, the Speaker, K.R. Suresh Reddy, and several Ministers were present. The Chief Minister and the Speaker joined bishops and pastors in stressing the need for practising the preachings of Christ to usher in a better world.
Rev. Joji said fundamentalism, fanaticism and terrorism were against Christ's tenets and sought cooperation to the Government in its efforts to help the poor.
