Track to be restored by January-end

TIRUCHI, DEC.31 . The damaged railway line between Nagapattinam and Nagore railway stations would be restored by the end of January.

Railway sources here said the Southern Railway had decided to restore the damaged eight-km track on a "war footing." As some minor bridges also suffered damages, all the 12 minor bridges would be replaced with new ones.
