Judicial custody for Raghu extended

KANCHEEPURAM,
JAN. 12.
The Kancheepuram Judicial Magistrate-I, G.Uthamaraj, today extended the judicial custody for Raghu, brother of Junior Acharya, Sri Vijayendra Saraswathi, and eight others, arrested in connection with Sankararaman murder case.
The eight accused are Basker, Stalin, `kuruvi' Ravi, Palani, Sekar, Sundaram, Kumar and Anandkumar.
Sundaresa Iyer, to whom an arrest warrant was served in Chennai Central Prison recently informing that he was arrested in the tampering with Mutt accounts case filed in Siva Kanchi Police Station, was produced in court for remand.
The magistrate remanded him till January 20.
