Screening of `Black Friday' stayed
MUMBAI,
JAN. 27.
The Bombay High Court today stayed the screening of the controversial film, "Black Friday," based on the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts, till February 3.
A Division Bench consisting of Justice H. L. Gokhale, and Justice S. P. Dharmadhikari, granted the stay following an application moved by the accused in the blast case, Mustaq Karani, lodged at the Arthur road jail and facing charges under the TADA Act.
Advocate for the accused told the court that the order in the case was still awaited and the screening of the movie could prejudice the mind of the court.
