ISI conspiracy case: charge sheet filed

AHMEDABAD,
JAN. 27.
The Ahmedabad crime branch police today filed an additional charge sheet against Moulana Nasiruddin, a resident of Hyderabad, in connection with the alleged ''ISI conspiracy'' case.
The charge sheet was filed in the special POTA court of Sonia Gokani. The Moulana's arrest from Hyderabad by a team of the Ahmedabad crime branch police on November 1 had sparked off violence in the Andhra Pradesh Capital and one person was killed when the Ahmedabad police opened fire, claimed to be ``in self-defence on being attacked by a mob trying to prevent the Moulana's arrest''.
Police said the Moulana was part of the conspiracy allegedly hatched by the Pakistani Inter-Services Intelligence to take revenge for the killing of Muslims during the communal riots in Gujarat.
