By Our Staff Reporter

WARANGAL, FEB. 10. P. Hari Nayak (32), a tribal, was shot dead by the Janashakti naxalites last night at Annampalli village of Mulug mandal.

According to reports, a group of naxalites took him to the outskirts and killed branding him as a police informer. In a note left on the name of the Janashakti Mulug area committee secretary, Praveen, they said Hari Nayak was responsible for the Jangupalli encounter on January 6.

This was the second killing in the name of a police informer.

Earlier, Maoists killed one Komuraiah a week ago in Kothaguda mandal holding him responsible for the Ramaram encounter in which the party lost two of its legal members.
