Another police stunt, says Anara's mother

FEB.10.
Despite the Chandigarh laboratory furnishinga new forensic report affirming the "presence" of Anara Gupta in the porn CD, the girl's family remained undeterred and called it a "new stunt" by the police.
"We are not worried as this is just another stunt by those who framed a false case against my daughter. But we are confident that people behind this would be caught in their own web," said Ms. Rajrani, mother of Anara Gupta. "We need to know who provided the photograph of Anara to the Chandigarh laboratory on the basis of which they confirmed that Anara features in the CD," she added.
The next hearing in the case is on February 17.
The Chandigarh laboratory report came four days after the Jammu and Kashmir police pleaded in the High Court that they wanted to withdraw the case due to lack of any evidence.
