CUDDAPAH, FEB. 10. West Bengal girls fought back from the brink to beat Mizoram in the league round on the third day of the 31st National junior volleyball Championship at Rajampet. Himachal Pradesh boys defeated West Bengal and Gujarat won over Maharashtra in two keenly poised matches. Tamil Nadu boys comfortably won over Assam and Andhra Pradesh boys defeated Manipur.
Girls: West Bengal bt Mizoram 19-25, 18-25, 25-18, 25-7, 15-8; Andhra Pradesh bt Gujarat 25-10, 25-13, 25-7; Himachal Pradesh bt Pondicherry 25-8, 25-16, 25-12; Uttar Pradesh bt Rajasthan 24-26, 25-17, 28-16, 25-6.
