`Promote cultivations of medicinal herbs

NEW DELHI, FEB. 18. The Society for Promotion of Wastelands Development (SPWD) has given a call to the Government, non-government organisations and corporates to become partners in cultivating medicinal herbs.

Addressing a seminar on "Potential of Promoting Medicinal Herbs on Wastelands", the Executive Director of SPWD, Vijay Sardana said that cultivation should be promoted as it can yield rich dividends because of growing demand within the country and abroad.
