ITI SC wins
BANGALORE,

. ITI Sports Club beat State Juniors 2-1 in the Field Marshal K.M. Caraippa memorial State-level hockey tournament here on Sunday. All three gaols came in the first half.
Cariappa drew the first blood for ITI with a penalty corner conversion in the fourth minute and Vivek struck the second goal within three minutes to put ITI on top. Kalappa, with indirect penalty corner hit, reduced the margin for State Juniors in the 23rd minute. Both the teams frittered away quite a few chances that came their way in the second half.
In another match, IOB and Pioneer Corps Training Centre played out a drab, goalless draw.
