Big win for Mysore Gymkhana
MYSORE,
FEB. 20.
The Mysore City Gymkhana, helped by some good batting by H.S. Krishnakumar (64) and Nikilesh Gowda (54) registered an easy 96-run win over Mysore Cricket Club in their Group `D' league encounter in the Sri Gopalaswami Memorial cricket tournament played at the JSS (M) college grounds here on Sunday.
The scores: Group D: The Mysore City Gymkhana 294 for seven in 45 overs (H.S. Krishnakumar 64, Nikilesh Gowda 54, K.B. Chandan 50, Pavan Simha 40) bt MCC 198 in 37.2 overs (Madhusudhan 64, Krishnakumar 55).
Group A: Nanjangud CC 178 in 43.5 overs (V.S. Yeshwanth 81) bt Vidyaranya CC 131 in 35.1 overs (Salauddin four for 17).
