Ajay Babu scored four minutes later to give the host a 4-0 lead. Jagtar Singh knocked in one for HP two minutes from the break. Yugandhar scored through a penatly corner in the 36th minute and captain K. Suresh rounded off the tally one minute from the hooter by converting a penalty stroke.
