A fine 116 by Sanjay Verma helped Delhi Police beat Delhi Audit on the basis of the first innings lead in the Premier division DDCA League cricket match at the Yamuna Sports Complex here today.
The scores: Premier division: Delhi Audit 276 for nine in 90 overs (Sunil Rawat 106, Pankaj Joshi 54) lost to Delhi Police 281 for four in 40 overs (Sanjay Verma 116, Anil Rana 65); Super Elite II: Rohtak Road Gymkhana 185 for seven in 30 overs (Agnesh Surya 74, Abhinav Bali 51) beat CWC 64 in 20 overs; Plate division: Canara Bank 146 in 30.1 overs (Jai Singh Bisht 41) lost to Sonex CC 147 for eight in 39.2 overs (Ranjan Pandey 47).
