Anirban wins title

HYDERABAD, FEB. 20. Promising teenager Anirban Lahiri won the title in the handicap level of 12 and below category in the CII-GATI corporate golf championship at the Bison Golf Course in Secunderabad today. Charu Sharma was runner up in the same category. In the handicap level of 13-18, the winner was Lt.Col. S. Gangadhar, while Dayakar Reddy was runner-up.

Other award winners: Vivek Jaisimha (longest drive), Capt. M.S. Dhillon (maximum pars), Ashok Katakam (maximum birdies), Mickey Sharma (most accurate drives) and Praveen Raju (closest to pin).

Ramesh Datla, Chairman, CII (Andhra Pradesh), M.K. Patodia, Vice-Chairman of CII (AP), Mahendra Agarwal, MD of GATI Ltd., and Brigadier A.K. Verma, Vice-Chairman of the Bison Golf Course, gave away the prizes.
