Ernakulam CC advances
THRISSUR,
FEB. 20.
Ernakulam CC and AGS Octopals (Thrissur) scored convincing first-round wins in the 18th E.P. Pavoo memorial all-Kerala cricket tournament at the Sree Kerala Varma College Ground here on Sunday.
Ernakulam CC defeated Budoline CC by five wickets while Octopals thrashed Youngsters CC (Vaniyamkulam) by six wickets.
The scores: Youngsters CC, Vaniyamkulam, 150 in 28 overs (Rajiv 42) lost to AG's Octopals, Thrissur, 153 for four in 23.5 overs (Subin Babu 65).
Budoline CC, Thrissur, 162 in 29.5 overs (Sunil four for 17) lost to Ernakulam CC 166 for five in 22.5 overs (Subramaniam 55 n.o.).
