Maid's charge against employer's brother

HYDERABAD, FEB. 27. A 15-year-old maid accused her employer's brother of raping her.

The maid, a native of Mavoor village in Maharashtra, claimed that she had been working in the house of Mumtaz at Ammannagar under Bhavaninagar police station limits for the last three years.

Two years ago, Mumtaz's younger brother, Chand Pasha, allegedly raped her and continued to sexually assault her after threatening her with dire consequences if she disclosed the matter to anyone.

The victim maintained that she got pregnant and subsequently had an abortion. According to her, Pasha again started to sexually assault her following which she lodged a complaint with the police.

The police said the girl was sent for medical examination and Pasha's family members were being questioned as he was not available.
