Infant found abandoned in bus station

By Our Staff Reporter

HYDERABAD, FEB. 27. A three-day-old baby girl was found abandoned on a platform in Mahatma Gandhi bus station on Saturday even as the police were racking up their brains to solve three other cases of abandoned children at Saidabad, Alwal and at Osmania General Hospital (OGH).

Wrapped in a frock, the baby was found lying on platform no. 3. A passenger noticed the infant and alerted the Afzalgunj police who shifted her to Sishu Vihar.

Three days ago, a two-year-old boy was spotted lying on the premises of OGH. The police said no clues were available in both cases.
