Utpal Desai wins

BANGALORE, MARCH 5. Utpal Desai of Intel won the 0-12 handicap section of the AMCHAM inter-corporate golf tournament played at the Karnataka Golf Association course here on Saturday. Rajendra Patil was the runner-up.

Former cricketer Javagal Srinath along with other corporate leaders like Venkatesh Mysore of Metlife, Bhaskar Pramanik of Sun Microsystems, Vivek Mishra of Ernst & Young, Shesh Kulkarni of UTI Worldwide, Nandakumar Dhenke of GE Energy, John Panikar of Praxair, CS Murali of Cognizant Technologies, Pradeep Kar of Microland, N. Krishnakumar of Mindtree Consulting, Latika Pai of B2K Corporation were also seen in action in the fourth edition of the tournament.

The results: 0-12 handicap: 1. Utpal Desai, 2. Rajendra Patil; 13 and above: 1. Hari Khanna, 2. SN Rao; AMCHAM category: 1. John Panikar, 2. Atul Ujagar. Individual category: longest drive: Utpal Desai; straightest drive: Atul Ujagar; closest to pin: Kumar Abhimanyu.
