Ranbaxy triumphs

HYDERABAD, MARCH 5. Ranbaxy won the Pharma Cup limited-overs cricket tournament, defeating Dr. Reddy's by one wicket in the final here on Saturday.

G.V. Prasad, CEO, Dr. Reddy's, and Dr. Brian Tempest, MD, CEO, gave away the prizes.

The scores: Dr. Reddy's 144 for eight in 30 overs (Joshi 43) lost to Ranbaxy 145 for nine. MoM: Rajiv (Ranbaxy). Best batsman: Krishna Kant Joshi (Dr. Reddy's). Best bowler: Vimal Kumar (Ranbaxy). Best fielder: C. Ganesh (Dr. Reddy's).
