IMPHAL, MARCH 5. Bengal thrashed Kerala 5-0 to enter the final of the 13th National women's football championship at the Khuman Lampak Main Stadium here on Saturday. The winner led 1-0 at the break. Rinku Ghosh scored the first goal in the 10th minute. Sujata Kar scored three goals in the second half (53rd, 56th and 79th minutes). Shilpi Deb completed the tally in the 65th minute. For the first time in the tournament, red cards were shown to two players. Shilpi Dev of Bengal will have to sit out the final as she was shown the red card by referee P. Marngar. Angela Dolfes of Kerala also received the marching orders. Bengal will meet Manipur in the final at the same venue on Monday. Manipur had earlier defeated Goa 3-0 in the first semifinal on Friday.
