Rag dealer seeks protection from police

NEW DELHI,
MARCH 7.
A wholesale dealer in rags has approached the Delhi High Court seeking protection and security against threats to him allegedly by certain personnel of the city police for deposing against them in two CBI cases as well as allegedly refusing to pay extortion money to them.
Taking note of the petition, Justice R.C. Jain issued notices to the Delhi Government, the Police Commissioner and other officials of the city police asking them to file their replies to allegations in the petition by April 4.
