Boy killed, 9 injured in J&K school blast

JAMMU,
MARCH 18.
A 10th standard student was killed and nine were injured when a grenade exploded in a school at Nadihal village in Baramulla district today. The school is located near a Rashtriya Rifles camp.
The Senior Superintendent of Police (Baramulla), Munir Khan, told The Hindu that some unidentified militant threw a grenade at the premises of the Government High School. "It exploded during recess around 1.15 pm," he said, adding that Mohsin Sarwar, a 10th standard student, was killed.
Five students who suffered injuries had been admitted to hospital in Srinagar. Four civilians received splinter injuries. But all the injured were out of danger.
