DOS HERMANAS (SPAIN), APRIL 9. P. Hari Krishna and leader Teimour Radjabov agreed for a quick 13-move draw in the eighth and penultimate round of the Dos Hermanas International chess tournament here on Friday.
The result kept Hari in the joint third place with 4.5 points and allowed Radjabov to maintain his half-point lead with five points. Russia's Alexander Rustemov moved to the joint second spot after beating compatriot Oleg Korneev in 62 moves of Benoni. The results (eighth round): Teimour Radjabov (Aze) (5) drew with P. Hari Krishna (4); Sergey Karjakin (Ukr) (4.5) drew with Zurab Azmaiparashvili (Geo) (4.5); Alexander Rustemov (Rus) (4.5) bt Oleg Korneev (Rus) (3); Miguel Illescas (Esp) (3.5) drew with Alexey Dreev (Rus) (4); Lenier Dominguez (Cub) (3) drew with Ruben Felgaer (Arg) (4).
