An all round performance by Manojchander (50 runs and four for 24) helped Maruthu Pandiar Cricket Club `A' register a 60-run victory over Syed Ammal Engineering College `A' in the Indian Bank-Ramanathapuram District Cricket Association first division league at Syed Ammal Engineering College ground here recently. The scores: Maruthu Pandiar CC `A' 213 in 42 overs (Johnson 50, Manojchander 50) bt Syed Ammal Engg. College `A' 153 in 34 overs (Ramesh Raja 41, Chidambaram 53, Manoj Chander four for 24). Vijay Memorial CC 88 in 20.1 overs (Ganesh four for 27) lost to National CC 89 for two in 16 overs. Master Thunder CC 186 in 34.1 overs (Balamurugan 50) bt Syed Ammal Engg. College `B' 136 in 34 overs (Sathiyendran 50, Jehangir four for 49). Grand Slam CC 89 in 22 overs (Suresh 40) lost to Luminous CC 94 for five in 16.5 overs. Luminous CC 163 in 40.5 overs (Gopalakrishnan 61) bt Syed Ammal Engg. College. College `A' 115 in 29 overs.
