Patent case against Ranbaxy
NEW DELHI:
The Japan-based Astellas Pharma has filed a lawsuit against the U.S. subsidiary of Ranbaxy Laboratories for infringing its patent for prostate drug Flomax. The suit was filed at the US Federal District Court in New Jersey jointly with the U.S. unit of the German drug maker Boehringer Ingelheim, which co-markets Flomax with it in the U.S., Astellas Pharma said.
