The UPA Government at the Centre has completed one year in office without achieving anything significant. What we need is a Government that can contribute to nation building, and not just focus on completing its term. The disappointment is more considering that it is the father of Indian economic reforms who is at the helm.

The BJP is not right in saying the Prime Minister is weak. He has courageously accommodated charge sheeted Ministers in his Cabinet, and more courageously rejected Justice Phukan Commission's findings unmindful of the erosion it will cause to his personal reputation.
