Campaign against drug abuse

CHANDIGARH:
The Haryana Government will observe June 26 as International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking to create public awareness against drug abuse, an official spokesman said here on Saturday.
The theme this year would be "Value yourself ...make healthy choices".
He claimed that the State Government had taken several steps to deal effectively with the problem and curb illicit trafficking.
The Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act was also being implemented vigorously.
It would also launch a public awareness campaign.
