Boy's death: court asks hospital to pay compensation

HYDERABAD:
The High Court has awarded compensation to the parents of Mahesh a three-year-old child of Konduru village who died in the children's ward of Kurnool Government General Hospital in February 2003. The Bench comprising of the acting Chief Justice, Bilal Nazki, and Justice G. Chandraiah delivered the final judgment.
A letter was sent to the High Court that on February 2003 two children Sekhar (5) and Mahesh (3) died in the children's ward due to the inhuman attitude, dereliction of duties and gross negligence on the part of the doctors and staff of the Government General Hospital, Kurnool.
