Collapsed KTPS tower restored

HYDERABAD: The 220-kV transmission tower of the Kothagudem Thermal Power Station (KTPS) which collapsed for a second time recently was re-erected and the line charged on Friday.

With the restoration of this Kothagudem-Budidampadu line, the entire output generated from the thermal station could be evacuated fully.
