CHENNAI: Now it is Prasanth's turn to tie the nuptial knot. He recently got engaged to Grahalakshmi. The hero has over 60 Indian language movies, including in Hindi, behind him. For sometime now, Prasanth's family had been searching for a bride for him. "We were searching for the bride world wide but we did not know that she was living in the same place where we also live, T.Nagar."
A free hand to his mother
The marriage will be held in a couple of months. Prasanth's father and actor Thygarajan says "His mother was literally a baby sitter for him. She takes care of all his needs and when it came to marriage, Prasanth gave a free hand to his mother to choose a bride for him. We would have loved to get him married to his lady love. My wife and I know the power of love ... we ran from home to get married years ago. But Prasanth is an obedient boy and accepted his mother's choice without a word." Grahalakshmi's father is Dhanasekhar and his mother is Sivagamasundari. The bride is the niece of Dr Ranghabhashyam. Prasanth said he was happy to accept the selection of his mother. "I always prefer a marriage which is accepted by the elders. Life then will be peaceful and happy". Prasanth is now working in six films including "Adaikalam" which is going to be released soon. Other films are "Police" directed by Thyagarajan, "Arun Weds Harini" directed by Mugil, "Kattaan" directed by Suresh". "Taxi Driver" directed by Margan and "Thagappansamy" by Murugesh.
