Income Tax official retires

HYDERABAD:
The services rendered by P.A. Chowdary, Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, who retired on Thursday, were hailed at a function got up to felicitate him. Mr. Chowdary belonged to the 1968 batch of the Indian Revenue Service and served the department in various capacities, including Member, Appropriate Authority, Commissioner of Income Tax and Director-General of Income Tax (investigation). P.K. Sinha, Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Hyderabad-II, J.L. Girdhar, Chief Commissioner, Income Tax-III and others hailed his services.
