Ganguly not losing sleep over ban

London: He may be serving a six-match ban but Sourav Ganguly is not losing sleep over whether he would be playing in the tri-series that gets underway in Colombo on July 30.

The Bengal southpaw said he was not worried by the fate of his appeal against the ban and would accept things as they come.

BBC Sports Wales quoted a nonchalant Ganguly as saying, "I haven't heard anything but it doesn't worry me. If they want me I'll go to Sri Lanka, if not I'll go home to my wife and little girl."

Satisfied with his county experience with Glamorgan, Ganguly said, "the two months in Wales have really helped me prepare for a busy year ahead. The boys in the dressing room, the people, the press - everything has been fantastic." Ganguly, who signed off with a half century in Glamorgan's last match against Middlesex, said the Wales county must sign two overseas player to arrest the series of defeats.

"Glamorgan has a young team and I've thoroughly enjoyed my time here. But it definitely needs two overseas players for the full season to help the youngsters come through," he said. — UNI
