The results: Junior boys singles: Final: R. Dharnikumar (Che) bt L. Silambarasan (Che) 25-23, 25-15. Semifinals: R. Dharnikumar bt S. Stalin (Che) 14-25, 25-12, 21-5; L. Silambarasan bt S. Ramanathan (Mdu) 25-9, 15-25, 25-18. Quarterfinals: R. Dharanikumar bt John Isaac (Mdu) 25-0, 25-1; S. Stalin bt B. Santosh Kumar (Cbe) 25-16, 25-21; S. Ramanathan bt G.D. Preethi of Madurai, in girls' section are leading with two points each at the end of the second round in the Tamil Nadu State junior (under-19) chess championship on Monday.
