Security for Azharuddin

HYDERABAD: : Former Indian skipper Mohd. Azharuddin has been provided security cover by the city police following threatening calls. "We have provided security to Mohd. Azharuddin on information that there was [a] threat to his life," the police said on Tuesday. Four personal security officers have been deputed to guard him.

Asked about the security, Mr. Azharuddin told NDTV: "No, it's nothing. No problem. It's very personal." — PTI
