Nod for curriculum framework

NEW DELHI: There should not be any homework for children till class II. Suitable alternatives can be planned from class III onwards, Central Board of Secondary Education Chairman Ashok Ganguly said on Tuesday.

At the meeting of the National Steering Committee, which unanimously approved the revised draft of the National Curriculum Framework 2005, Mr. Ganguly said if 50 per cent of the NCF recommendations were implemented, the system of school education would get revolutionised. — PTI
