Gayatri Sugars to set up distillery

HYDERABAD: Gayatri Sugars Ltd. (formerly NCS Gayatri Sugars Ltd) plans to set up a 40 kl a day cane molasses based distillery at its sugar factory at Kamareddy. It is also planning to establish a distillery based on the latest technology to manufacture rectified spirit and extra neutral alcohol/ ethanol from molasses. The project, estimated to cost Rs. 25 crore, is expected to be financed through internal accruals and term loans and will be implemented over the next two years, says a release.
