People's power can be expressed in many ways. And it is in time of adversity that that is best put to use as the crew of a private bus learnt the other day. Last week, on a late evening at Ernakulam South, private buses went off the road without any notice. Hundreds, including women and children, were stranded across the city. One of the private buses came with its lights turned off. The crew had no intention to go further though about a score passengers were waiting for this `last bus.' But soon, a tough fellow came from among the crowd and gave a piece of his mind. The crew had to change their plans and the passengers heaved a big sigh of relief.
