New SIAM President

NEW DELHI: Madhur Bajaj, who is Vice-Chairman of Bajaj Auto, was elected President of the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) on Thursday. He succeeds Maruti Udyog Managing Director Jagdish Khattar, who has competed his two-year term. According to SIAM release, Tata Motors Managing Director Ravi Kant was elected Vice-President at the society's first Executive Committee Meeting held here on Thursday.

Mr. Bajaj has been on the boards of several other companies.
