DAVANGERE: A six-year-old boy was kidnapped from school and murdered in Harpanahalli taluk on Wednesday. According to the police, some unknown persons went to the school and told the principal that they were Praveen's relatives and took the boy with them. When Praveen's mother went to the school to pick up her son, she was told that his relatives had picked him up. She and some other relatives searched for the boy but could not find him. However, his body was found in Hirekere plot late in the evening. The police recovered the body around 9 p.m. They have registered a case and are searching for the culprits. The police said that the boy was hit on his head and murdered.
