Man sustains bullet injury

COIMBATORE: : Venugopal (27) son of a police personnel sustained bullet injuries in a freak accident when he mishandled the firearm of his employer on Wednesday night. According to police, Venugopal working in a private finance company is said to have gone out for dinner with his boss last night. Without knowing that the bullet chamber is loaded, Venugopal accidentally pressed the trigger. The bullet pierced through his moustache and cheek. He was admitted to a private hospital. The City Police have registered a case under the arms act against the injured and his employer for carelessness and mishandling of firearm.
