Nurses hold dharna

KOCHI: Nurses under the aegis of Kerala Government Nurses Association held a demonstration on Thursday demanding that their working hours be fixed at eight hours. The demonstration was held at all the district medical offices in the State and the Secretariat. The district committee of the association, in a press release, demanded publishing of seniority list and 25 per cent interim relief. — Staff Reporter

Loco staff to join stir

KOCHI: The All India Loco Running Staff Association, South Zone, has decided to join the national strike on September 29 demanding eight hours working time and withdrawal of the decision to cut running allowance. — Staff Reporter
