Missing girl dead

A 14-year-old girl Tahsin Sultana, 14, who went missing three days ago, was found dead in Suraram tank of Jeedimetla on Thursday. Though forensic experts said the girl died of drowning, police took into custody two youth of her locality to check for foul play.

Man murdered

A stonecutter S. Chinna Yadaiah, 30, who went out with his friends on Wednesday night, was found murdered near a wine shop at Srinivasanagar of Jagadgirigutta on Thursday. The offenders killed him by smashing his head with a boulder, Jeedimetla Inspector B. Srinivasa Reddy said.
