Accomplice manages to escape with 9 mm pistol

HYDERABAD: The city police on Thursday nabbed a person identified as Mangal Pandey, 25, hailing from Bihar, at Tadbun and recovered six short firearms from his possession.

Mangal Pandey was waiting with his accomplice Rakesh Pandey, of the same State, to sell the weapons, the City Police Commissioner A.K. Mohanty told a press conference here.

While Rakesh managed to escape with a 9 mm pistol, Managal Pandey was caught with a 12 bore short firearm.
