Engineering seats added

HYDERABAD: In the final phase of engineering counselling starting October 9, as many as 6,910 seats would be added in engineering and pharmacy courses. Of these, 4,990 seats are in the existing engineering colleges while the rest are in the newly permitted five colleges and 12 B.Pharmacy colleges.

According to G. Anantha Ramu, Director, Technical Education, Government accorded conditional approvals for the new colleges permitted by the AICTE recently. Details can be accessed at www.dteap.ac.in or http://eamcet.dte.gov.in.
