Revised schedule for revision of poll rolls

HYDERABAD: The Government has announced the revised schedule for special summary revision of electoral rolls in the State with January 1, 2006 as the qualifying date.

Preparatory work would be done up to November 1. Claims and objections filing, reading of relevant part of electoral roll in gram sabhas, urban local bodies and resident welfare associations would be done between November 5 and December 4. Special campaign for receiving claims and objections at designated places would be conducted on November 12, 13, 26 and 27. Disposal of claims and objections would be done on January 9. The final publication of electoral rolls would take place on February 10..
