SBT to test biodiesel on more vehicles

HYDERABAD: After the successful trials of bio-diesel on an APSRTC-owned bus, Southern Online Bio Technologies (SBT), the Hyderabad-based firm dealing with bio-diesel, has decided to extend the trials to other segments of vehicles. The company plans to operate a truck, jeep, car and an auto-rickshaw on bio-diesel in the coming months. It has already entered the capital market with a rights-cum-public issue of Rs. 17.10 crore for setting up a 10,000 tonnes a day capacity bio-diesel unit at Samsthan Narayanpur in Nalgonda district.
