Nepal Left alliance plans mass contact programme

A series of meetings starting from the districts and regions will begin on Nov. 19

NEW DELHI: The seven-party alliance for restoration of democracy in Nepal said here that a major mass contact movement would begin from Lumbini on November 19 and would culminate in major exercise at Kathmandu by April-May next year.

"A series of meetings starting from the districts and regions would begin after Diwali on November 19 and culminate in Kathmandu by April-May next year,'' Madhav Nepal, general secretary of the Communist Party of Nepal (United-Marxist-Leninist) said here after a meeting with the leaders of Left and other political parties expressing solidarity with the people of Nepal.
