4 of family die in suicide pact

BHADRACHALAM : Four members of a business family ended their lives in a suicide pact in the temple town in the early hours of Friday.

According to the police, Kodumuri Krishnamurthy, 40, his wife Nagamani, 38, children -- Pavan ,18, and Haritha,16, consumed pesticide in their house in wee hours. They were taken to the area hospital where they died.

The family was reportedly in distress because of losses in the clothes business. They resorted to the desperate step because of the increasing debts.

The bodies were sent for post-mortem examination.
